Katherine joined the Skills and Simulation team in 2017 and supports learning with the Pre registration and Post registration Nursing students,  Operating Department Practitioner Students and Allied Healthcare Professionals

Katherine enjoys many different aspects of her role such as scenario programming of the patient simulators used in the students teaching sessions and experimenting with moulage, in particular stool and urine samples.  Katherine has a keen interest in Audio Visual (AV) and enjoys creating and editing footage captured in the AV system we utilise (SMOTS™).

Katherine is a highly organised individual and has managed to build an exceptional relationship with her team, academic & administrative staff and students.

Currently an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (AFHEA), Katherine is now working towards gaining accreditation as a Registered Science Technician (RSciTech) with the Science Council.
